Map of Fuerteventura

For those who do not know where Fuerteventura is, it is part of the Canary Islands which are located off the north coast of Africa.

Fuertaventura is the 2nd largest of the islands and is just south of Lanzarote, you can actually take the ferry from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote.

There are three main resorts on the islands for holiday makers, Jandia, Caleta De Fuste and Corralejo.  A very popular tourist destination is Betancuria which is the old capitol of the island.
